Name: Aina [difficult birth, favor; grace, the only one]

Gender: Female

Age: 19 human years

Physical: Hates her dry skin. Naturally tan, but she completely covers her arms and legs and tries not to spend too much time in the sun in a neverending attempt to become a lighter pigment. She usually switches from a muted ensemble to a more colorful one every other day. Her parents couldn't afford for her to take care of her long wavy hair, so her mom chopped it all off into a pageboy haircut when she was younger. She likes keeping it so short. She is an average height for her age, lanky build.

Childhood:  Her parents were already financely struggling before finding her stranded on the beach. Poor as they were (and still sort of are), they couldn't just leave her there, so they brought her to police, they did DNA testing, etc but were able to keep her in the end of it all. Her parents wanted to work even harder so they could provide the best for Aina. at this time, they lived in a small, unimpressive, unnoticed nowhere. They moved to a bigger-than-nowhere-but-not-quite-somewhere rural area, among a bunch of trees and a great view of the mountains. She grew up in a relatively positive environment and that transferred over to her outlook on life. She was heavily supported by her parents early on, but her parents made mistakes and became drunks. They were out of it most days, but she would encouragingly nurse them. She had to become the mature one at an early age because of this.

Where she lives: Located near her ground house, she lives in the treehouse she "built" with her dad when she was 6 years old. Up there, she's closer to nature and the elements and she feels so free, like a bird flying. The treehouse is old and rickety but it's her chosen home, and it's from a more innocent time in her life. Far away from troubles.
At 19, she moved out to find her own adventure because she felt that she's accomplished nothing so far. She decided she would do this last year (when she was 18) but that she would stay close enough to still care for her parents. She thinks they're getting better.

Income: She was briefly homeschooled (never attended public school), so when her parents fell downhill she felt horribly guilty for not being able to apply for a job. Due to how poor and sheltered she grew up, she is severely out of touch with the world. A good friend of her parents offered her a part time busing tables at their restaurant and she gratefully accepted. In her free time, she gathers recipes and creates berry and fruit pastries to sell to neighbors and travelers/tourists.

Personality: Like how she was when she was a lil kiddie, she is a bubbly, optimistic force who lights up a room. Despite what she's gone through, she's outgoing and passionate, slightly naive but genuinely goodhearted. She is resilient in breaking up arguments and offers a peaceful, idealistic solution to any problem.
